Normally, this item doesn't need servicing. However, the 2005 Lotus cars in particular have a problem. The fuel tank on these cars was spec'd out with an access hole that is slightly small. This results in the top plate assembly being destroyed in the removal process to service the fuel pump or fuel filter.

We suggest sanding the diameter of the assembly down a bit so avoid such a tight fit on 2005 models for future service.

This part is compatible with all Toyota 2ZZ-GE powered Lotus cars.
